Vocab Lock Widget
The short version: Vocab Lock Widget does not collect, track, or share your personal data. Your settings, custom words, and translations stay on your device.
This policy explains what information the Vocab Lock Widget app (the “app”) and its Lock Screen widget handle, and why. It applies to the app and the widget.
We do not collect any personal information. The app does not have accounts, sign-in, analytics, advertising, or crash reporting that sends data to us or to a third party.
The app does not send any data to our servers, because it does not make network requests to fetch words or translations. Everything it needs ships with the app.
The app saves the following data only on your device, in the app’s shared storage that the widget can also read:
Deleting the app removes this data from your device.
Translations use Apple’s Translation framework, and they run on your device. iOS may download a language pack from Apple the first time you use a language. Apple’s own privacy policy covers that download. The app does not receive what you type or the words you translate.
The app writes diagnostic logs with Apple’s system logging (os.Logger) to help with troubleshooting. These logs stay on your device. You can view them only if you connect your device to a Mac and read them in Console, and we do not receive them.
The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and it does not show ads. It does not use any advertising identifier.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
